Hi all, first post on here in a very long while!
my Clio is a 56 plate, 1.2 16v
the cambelt is long overdue as now mileage is 84,000 and have a very heavy clutch with some slip now starting.
my brother said a water pump was good preventative work.
have gone to Renault direct and quoted £1500 and then a local reputable garage (Hertfordshire) who did work for my brother and quoted £700 all in.
Wondering why these prices are so far different and if anyone can recommend any alternatives/advice would be much appreciated.
