Hi i had a new cambelt kit fitted as my car sounded like a diesel, i was told the cambelt was almost hanging of because the tensior was broke. So a couple of weeks later after being fixed the car broke down so i towed it back to the garage and they have told me the guard on the inlet camshaft pulley has snaped of and frayed the belt so i will need a new cambelt kit and pulley. They admitted they didnt use the cambelt locking to (as it you dont need) would not using the correct cambelt tool cause the cambelt to come loose and damage the inlet pulley guard (lip) as it looks like the part is spot welded to the pulley.
