They are doing a few offers on popular tyres atm.

I just got 2 T1-R's 195-50-15's for £59.90 delivered.

No bad!

Not heard much about the Hankooks, they any good then?

I'm after some new fronts with rears to follow quite soon, have always just bit the bullet and gone with PE2s but when things are this much cheaper it is a little tempting.
I'd buy them over pe2's even if the pe2's were cheaper. Best road tyre I've used.

Edit: But if you get them, run them a slightly lower pressure than pe2's.

Might give them a go next then, cheers.

I know it's a hard one to answer as it's all subject to usage, but what's the wear like on them?

One thing I will say for the pe2s is they just go on and on, but then almost all my driving in the Clio is 20 miles up a dc and back so nothing to harsh on the tyres.

See them advertised all the time when abroad but just never really noticed them over here!

I need to order some 195/50/15s for my track car. Purely a track car.

Would you say the Hankooks/T1r's/Eagle F1's/etc ?

If you can get them lol! Bit pricier, but so, so good for the money. Demand for them is huge, so I'd keep calling camskill. Much cheaper than the equiv r888, but you can easily use them on road (even when wet!) if needed.

I'm running them everyday at the moment. The V12 (1st one I posted) are pretty good as well, Steburns ran them at Oulton and they performed well.

What is the rest of the Hankook range like?

Looking at some tyres for my other wheels (was looking at 195/45/16) and they don't do the V12 in that size (on the camskill site). Is it worth just going for the 205/45/16, or are any of the other Hankook ones worth using?

As above, I'd get the 205's. I've only used the V12's and the RS2's, couldn't comment on the others.

Prefer the T1Rs to Eagles.

Have now got a full set on the M3 and the last rear set of T1Rs lasted almost 10k which i didnt think was too bad.

I've got no complaints from my T1Rs, Eagles always felt "wobbly" to me.

  S3, Polo
I got a set of PZero a few weeks back and I highly rate them in this weather - can't comment on durability though...
