hi ya can any of you 172/182 owners or repairers put a picture up to show me how the engine mount beneath the battrey should look.Reason being i'm not sure if mine is positioned right.
Also how long do these mounts last i've had this one six months.

Should last longer than 6 months! Unless the monkeys at renault put it on wrong to start with and somehow buggered it. They are designed to last for years and years. Id expect 8 - 10 years out of it easily.
