Italian 3.2 V6
hey,
going to my second 1/4 mile run this next weekend and have done the following to the car.. as you can see im bored so having a play with figures lol showing you guys how i have worked it all out to see if you guys agree...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
standard weight before ductions = 1110kg
Changed wheels
original 5 spoke 172 alloys (incl. tyres) 5 x 18kg = 90kg
Mag Oz F1s (incl. tyres) 4 x 13.5kg = 54kg
54kg - 90kg = 36kg
= 36kg
Removed rear interioir = 34kg
ok so far we have :36kg + 34kg = 70kg, 70kg- 1110kg = 1040kg
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
standard bhp before updgrades.. = 177bhp (rolling road figure before mods were fitted)
removed acoustic valve = ~1bhp
pannel filter = ~2bhp
zorst system = ~5bhp
matched inlets = ~8bhp
~177bhp + ~2bhp + ~5bhp + ~8bhp = ~193bhp
total estimated added bhp = ~193 bhp (bit optimistic i think)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
now tbh.. i done believe my car will be running 193bhp,i think it will be running around ~185bhp.. would be amazing if it did run 193bhp!! lol
Power at Flywheel : 185 bhp
Weight without Driver : 1040kg
-Power to Weight Ratio : 180.74 BHP Per Ton
-0 - 60 : 6.16 Seconds
-0 - 100 : 15.766 Seconds
-0 - 100 : 9.59 Seconds
-Quarter Mile : 14.58 seconds
-Terminal Speed : 96.18 mph
-Drag Strip Quarter Mile : 14.38 seconds
-Drag Strip Terminal Speed : 97.89 mph
do you guys think i could do my quater mile run around these times!? ino there not 100% accurate just playing with figures to see what i can aim for on the day.. will be interesting to see what i actually get all being a fair good day weather wise etc..
or is everything i have put above all optimistic!?
1st time i did a quater mile run i got 15.6 @ 86mph ... car had blown exhaust system, desperatly due a service and weighed 1080kg and didnt have any of the engine mods..
do you think i can achieve 14.38 @ 97.89 is it possible from what i have done!?
thoughts...?
