Can I run software from a DVD on my motorized screen?

I've never really known whether or not this is possible but would I be able to download some software like a program of some sort of maybe a GPS program and run it from the DVD on my Motorized screen in my car? If someone could find me any info that would be ace!

Nope, not possible. Its simply a DVD player. Nothing for it to run with.

get a pc in the boot and link it up to the DVD player, then u got everything u cioulkd ever ewant on it.

well I have an external hard drive and a memory stick... would I be able to put mac os x or windows on the hard drive and then run things from that? sure I've heard you can put XP onto a memory stick somehwere. Might just be easy to buy a PC though lol

Even though it is just a DVD player it does have a touch screen so what is it that powers the touch screen and also the little audio program/software that comes on it for the equalizer and 3D sounds etc?
