Can I use 2 sims in one Smartphone? (N900)

This is a techie question I'm hoping someone might know the answer to...

I've got an N900 but might need to get a second SIM (long story).

Can I just swap the current one and the new one in and out as required?

Will it ruin my internet and connection settings and need to be changed everytime??


I've looked at Dual Sim Card things but I don't want to chop simcards down to make it fit... lol
