A bargain, the Bravia is ment to be very good, every reveiw i have read on that model it has come up trumps.

I think Sainsburys had the 42" Bravia in black in black for not much more, I can't remember the price though and google doesnt bring up much, so im not alot of help.
My brother did just buy an LG 37" LCD for £500 though from Richer Sounds.

TBH it's not the best for the money. It's Sony's entry level TV and lacks a lot of features. It's an older model so it's 2006 technology that's why it's cheap. It only has 1 HDMI too. If you can live without 3" inches I'd advise this;

Much better spec. Has better contrast, colour processors, 2 x HDMI's and looks nicer.

ooh i'd leave that well alone. its' U series, bottom of the range... originally inteneded for distribution at supermarkets (for them to show their special offers on etc) mainly retail anyway.

Have you looked into John Lewis's mate ?

They match any price you find on high street and you get a 5 year guarantee/warranty as well

Although they aint as cheap as internet prices they may be worth that bit extra for the extra 4 years piece of mind on top of the manufacturers standard guarantee/warranty
