Op- that price is correct. It also doesn't include the bit of plastic which goes over the oil filler cap which is £32.79 and the bolts which are 1.50 each.

Also, the small leather bag that's in the boot of the 182? Which contains the Jack? That is £80.22.

If you buy a clio in parts and assemble it yourself, it will cost you upwards of 200K I would wager, this is the same with all manufacturers for these sort of cars.

LOL!

That's pretty good, atleast they have a sense of humor.

They also sell Recaro's dearer than what Recaro charge for them!

Dealership area expensive to operate, and the profit on a new car is actually surprisingly low these days (hundreds rather than thousands for these sort of cars) they make their money from accessories and parts and servicing.
Its preferable that way aound to selling a clio for 30K in the first place and then selling cheap parts and servicing afterwards as if they did that they wouldnt sell anything.

Renault are and always have been the dearest mainstream car manufacturer for parts, it's mostly the smaller bits like front grilles and little bits and bobs that are obscene.

Never surprises me.
