I thought about going for 205/45/16 but didnt for 3 reasons...

1) i have a cup and wanted them standard

2) if they are wider the chances are the car wont be as progressive when it slides.

3) and as the side wall is a percentage of the width its make for a higher profile sidewall even though its still 45, doesnt look as good!

I'm running 195/45/16 at the moment, the reason i asked about the 205's is i am thinking of buying some trophy speedline wheels and if i get them i'll put 205's on them.

what reason would you put 205's on for? just more grip?

got 205's on my cup. Much better grip through the corners... but does not have the same degree of lift off oversteer

costco are by far the cheapest place around. i put on my beamer and everywhere else wasa wanting around 130 a shoe. costco were 90 inc fitting etc.
