Can you change Auto Wipers to Intermittent?

I can never get my auto wipers to work properly, the fix in the guide is only temporarily as the gel dries up leaving a mess.

Can you change to intermittent wipers? They are so much easier to use!

IIRC if you have the ignition on and move the wiper stalk on and off twice quicly, you'll get 2 beeps which tells you the wipers are off auto. Same with the auto lights

Above is correct. I love my auto wipers though... Although when driving in traffic slowly they sometimes leave it a bit long inbetween wipes!

what kind of beeps lol, I have just tried it and all I get is the 'click' the wipers make when they are triggered in auto mode, do you mean like a beep from the speakers?

Same here guys, i've been frantically turning my wipers on and off to try activate/deactivate this.......it doesn't work but if anyone knows a way that does i would appreciate it, i hate my auto wipers

I think it can be disabled but you have to fit a peasent spec stalk off a base model!

I read a few months ago thats all you had to do and apparantly it worked! all i'm doing is waiting for a basic clio to come in on p/x at work so i can try it lol, Nothing wrong with stripping a few sales cars

this does not work on wipers , its the auto lights you are getting mixed up with !!
