Canclip V203 help

Hi all,

I installed V203 on my W10 32 bit laptop. I have the china clone RLT2002 probe. Works fine and have been using on my old x86 Dell netbook for a while on V193.

Drivers seem to be installed ok but I cannot find the sensor when I open clip.

I changed the probes files in config for the my V193 ones from the netbook. Still not working.

I can't quite remember how I got all this working for V193, can someone help?

Sonde drivers do not work with win10 in my experience. Win 7 32bit is your best bet

I was using Clip on this laptop through VMware running W10 32bit. It was too slow so I just done a clean install of 32bit on it as I got a new laptop. The netbook is windows 10 32 bit and it works no issue. Problem is the screen is so small there’s parts of Clip I can’t see.

I tried a vm setup on my win 10 laptop and had issues with usb connectivity, it was a known issue with my laptop apparently. Could be a similar issue.

You will need to plug the can clip into your usb port to fire it up, might need to do that to finish driver install.

Sorted. I copied the probes files from my netbook and its working fine,

When I plug it into an older car like the clio, and it wants to start an old version of clip for diagnosis, it fails sighting a .dll fault.

.dll fault is what I’m experiencing. Believe it’s down to a missing file somewhere

I know you've sorted everything now but that bit is what happened to us, I was pulling my hair out effing and jeffing trying to sort it.

I sorted in the end by hooking up my laptop to a bigger monitor to see the bottom of the screen!

I had to do that to enter the serial number. Generally isnt an issue when using clip except when trying to change configurations.
