cannot access adsl modem

can't get on linksys live chat for some reason so....

If i have my modem plugged into my router then i cannot access it or even ping it.

If i remove the router and plug the modem into the pc then i can so i assume i need to change something on the router but I can't work out what.

Any ideas?

Router: Linksys BEFSR81 IP 192.168.1.3
Modem: Linksys ADSL2MUE IP 192.168.1.1

We don't get ADSL till tomorrow so I don't know if I will be able to access the net or not.

finally managed to get hold of linksys. Apparently it doesn't matter that I can't access the modem with the current setup at the moment. When I'm connected to the ISP I should be able to as the modem will get a new IP.

Roll on tomorrow...
