Just spotted this, didnt know it was in the pipeline, it was released whilst i was on hols. i think i could be just what i am after without having to pay another £800 to get a 5dmk2.

I still can't decide between this and the 5. The 7 has so many features above the 5 that it is hard to justify the extra cash just for FF and slightly better IQ when printing a 50 foot billboard.

agreed but looking on warehouseexpress the 5dmk2 body only is £1884 where as the 7d is £1699. the 5d seems to have come down a lot as when i was looking it was £2400 body only. This only makes it even harder to pick between them. Having said that if you wait 6months you might be able to pick up the 7d for nearer a £1000
