Can't view mpg

My dash mileage/mpg screen is stuck on the mileage and when i push the plastic poker thing in (tried holding it in etc) it won't change to show me mpg.

Sorry for my rubbish explanation but does anybody know how to fix this?

ADAC button is broken... new wiper stalk *should* fix it.
