Capacitor advice

I looking at buying myself a capacitor to finish off my new install.

Ive got two in mind:

Anyone got any argument for why I should go for one over the other?!

Ive heard of Fusion before, but not Audiobahn. Of course that doesnt mean they are better! In fact, im inclined to go with Audiobahn because I had a demo down at Decibels once with some new Fusion stuff and my MB Quart blew it away!

Hi mate

I think i got an e-mail from you earlier. I suppose i am bound to say go for the audiobahn one as we sell them but there is little or no difference between which one you go for. As long as they have the same capacity they will do the same job. It depends which one you like the look of best in most cases.

The green of the Fusion means it will stand out and look cool, but then at the same time I the more refined look of the audiobahn ones.

The Fustion one is better as it is 1.5 Farad and the audiobahn one is only 1 Farad.

But if you want it for looks more then the Audiobahn one looks better with the Blue DIgital voltage display.

For my setup, I probably only need a 0.5 farad one really, but to me, thats like buying a bmw 316. You just dont do it!

If its going to be done, I do it properly....even if it does skint me :-|

I too like the blue display, but I also quite like the green supports the Fusion one comes with.

Fancy doing me a better price on the Audiobahn one Russ?! It might help sway my decision ;-)

If you only need 0.5 then i would go for the Audiobahn one at 1F which gives you some more in reserve. I think the Blue LED Voltage display is better then the Green mounts, althought they do look quite good.

How about if i was to say that i could hack a fair bit of that price...would that swing it? The only reason that we put the full retail price on there is because we have to due to conditions of our account. Its the same with all of our Audiobahn stuff, we can sell it much cheaper than what is on our site.

Anyway back to the point. We can do that capacitor for £199..hmmm Ive got a feeling ill be getting a call tomorrow..am i right?

That would be a bit of a difficult one unfortunately as we will need to order the cap in. As long as we order it before 4pm tomorrow it will be here for monday morning. I can get it to you for Tuesday.Hopefully that is ok...unless you have a soundoff competition or something over the weekend.

Ah no probs. Im going to be making the false floor on saturday and so would have fitted it all in....never mind, Ill do it next saturday instead.
