Driving home late from my girlfriends house tonight. Cars driving normally - then suddenly press the accelerator, car slows down (has someone installed an irish ecu?), eventually i pull over as it wont rev and it eventually cuts out, all lights on the dash illuminate. Anyway, i start it and it starts fine. Theres a BIG smell of Catalytic converter? really bad egg smell emerges (not from my bowls i can assure) from outside into the car. The car is now running but smelling strange. I rev the b****cks out of it and its back to normal - little bit slow, but it seems ok.
Oh its done this once before. Have i cooked my Cat??
