yesterday at 5.00, I parked my car in sainsburys car park while i poped in for something i came back out and my passenger window was smashed and my cd player gone. £300 cd player apsolutely devistated sony tft one. popably shouldnt have bought the thing in the first place as it isint a face off just has a cover.

Some guy saw the F*ckers and ran after them as they were nealing down by the blind side of my car. but they were on pedle bikes and long gone!

well, i am getting a new widow from the scrappy a tenner . just woundering if anyone recommend a good cd player preferable colour screen and with face off. i have been looking at jvc kd-avx1 is this anygood and are there any others?

best bet is to go to halfrauds and look, they usually have a good selection, then funny as it sounds, buy a max power and look in the back for the most competetive prices!! then burn the mag

Yeah as said, look at an Alpine.

Problem with these stereos that fold in is that thieves know about this. They were good when first released but if ya look inside the car ya can if it's one of them face off ones or not.

on my mk 1 i got a face off but i always leave the flap up to show them its a face off, im paranoid if i pull the flap down theyll smash the window just to check anyway, b******s

Please don't do this, they are robbing b******s and pain in the ass to deal with. They are less than a mile from me, so I have bought stuff from them before but never again. The worst thing is if you don't know what you want or you have no knowledge of ICE, they will always try to sell you stuff you don't need, they are just money hungry b******s.

hmm personally i reckon they should stick radio code's on face off stereo's aswell that'll ruin the little chav's chances of selling it on. mate had a full on bootbuild in his astra gte. sunday night car went missing, found it next day bottom of a 200ft cliff ice gone should have spent some of the money on an alarm and tint's

sounds like you looked at the alpine 9855r, looks good but hard to use the touchscreen, I know I have one, go for a more simple model and spend the money on amps and stuff.

hey, thats the exact one i had no face off just an ashtray cover. these theaves know that! make sure you park it safe mate! otherwise it will be gone like mine was.

By the way guys mine had a security code on it once it is disconnected from the battery. I have been told it can be cracked? does anyone know if this is true? i hope not B*stards

I'm gonna purchase a motorised screen soon but Im gonna attempt to take the face off the original HU and see if there's some way of modding the screen HU so that when it folds away it looks like the standard HU! Just an idea I guess but worth a try. Anything to stop those W***ERS getting their hands on it!
