car cutting out please help!!!

my 1.4 clio keeps cutting out. But it appears to only happen when cold. I have had service done with plugs filters etc replaced. Changed the battery. It is still cutting out. It seems to be fine when it has warmed up!! Any help would be very much appreciated dont fancy paying dealer prices to have a look at it!! There is no warning lights when it happens just the battery light comes on which is normal when a car stalls. It seems to be when the clutch is pressed or coming to a stop. Always starts after it cuts out. And when running it wont just cut out.

Idle control valve/throttle body needs a clean. is it a 16v?

nah only an 8 valve. Is it an easy job to do
