Car freezing on the inside

  BMW E36 328
As the weather has become colder over the past week, ive noticed that in a morning i have got a hin layer of frost on th windscreen, its not every morning but most mornings this seems to happen, has anyone had this happen before or know why this is happening? could this have something to do with my leaking sunroof? just a wild guess lol

The car has never froze on the inside before the sunroof started to leak is that the cause?

Yes, water in the car would freeze on the windscreen, same as what happens on the outside.

even though the sunroof is full of silicone at the moment so water could not penetrate through it :S, it doesnt happen every day though thats what i cant understand and the car is frozen every morning
