2 Rear wheel bearings £105 +VAT

Just got told that the person who tighten my bolts yesterday tighten one too much, and snapped one of my bolts :S

I shall be visiting that garage again (where i got the wheel nuts tightened) and getting them to pay out £3 for a new bolt :approve:

Were they genuine cambelt kits Haz ;) ? Still quite reasonable tbh

Got it from GSF.... so no idea, probably not, but mehh at least its done!

Anyone know whether its possible to see the cambelt on my 1.2? as in where should it be situated?

Got my car back, after paying £264... and the car drives like a dream now :) Happy Haz

No idea how long it should take, but they sed 2.5 -3hrs labour.

Not really complaining as i hear quotes from Renault for about £400.

Christ, on a 1.2 16V, you can do them in under an hour, think you get about 1.8 - 2 hours book time!!
 
What's the interval on the non RS range ?

I thought a 51 reg was due a while ago anyway ? I'm sure that j.a.m.... etc etc was a 51 too & over due ?

lol @ people thinkin the Vee is a ferrari! They can be had for less than a new 197 ffs!

I got my cambelt supplied and fitted by Renault for £270, not too shabby me thinks.

Expensive rear wheel bearings aint they?
