Car Moves Out of Gear?

I did a search but wasnt really sure what to write to find my 'problem'


The other night one of my friends asked me to 'rev' enigine to hear the Yozza so with pleasure i did but i noticed that the car nudged forward, even though it was out of gear?? Any clues as to why?

Not alot, but it shunted forward like it would in 1st if you blips throttle.

only way it would, is if the clutch and flywheel where coming together somehow. Had a new clutch recently?

was thinking this, if its had a new clutch it mayb need to be re adjusted.

Nah the cars never had a new clutch to my knowledge, strange one this... Cheers for the ideas so far though lads.

Some utter bullsh*t responses here! Will have sweet f*ck all to do with the clutch, if his foot was off the clutch pedal then the clutch would be engaged and driving the input shaft of the gearbox anyway!
If he was out of gear (which he has said he was) then it wouldnt matter what the clutch was doing!
