Car not starting after sending to garage for repair advicev

Hi peeps,

I’m new to this so bare with me, I recently bought a Clio 0.9 tce from a private seller, the car as been working fine for the last 5 weeks but then all of a sudden I got “check airbag” warning signal,

I phoned my local Renault garage and arranged to take it in to be looked at.

They said it needed 2 parts fitting so they went ahead and did it only then the car wouldn’t start at all, the diagnostic machine said the steering lock was on so required another part but the car still won’t start!!!

As I never had this problem before Is it Renaults responsibility to fix this problem??

Yes they have obviously fucked it up. Don't pay for any work other than the original work carried out.

Yeah how can it go from airbag warning light to car not starting!! Surely the garage have to put it right?

Sounds like they've fucked up part of the steering mech removing the airbag.

Could just be something left un-plugged
