Car Radio/CD Player help

Hi, looking for some advice here. A few weeks ago the cord from the power steering pump got caught in my car and the whole thing died. Although this is now sorted, I can't get my radio/CD player to work - there is actually a CD in the player that I can't get access to at all.

I'm getting 4 '0's on the dispaly so I'm guessing I need to put a code in to unlock the radio, but I don't know how to go about getting this. I have a Renault Clio and the radio is manufactured by Philips. Looks like it came with the car rather than being a stand alone separate part.

Can anyone help?

In your service book there should be a code some where. It will be four digits. You must enter that using the steering wheel remote.

Hi. thanks will have a wee look and see. So if i enter the fourth digit, will it unlock automatically, or is there the equivalent of an 'enter' key I need to press to activate it?

After putting in the fourth digit, hold down the "6" button, thats the "enter" key.
