carbon battery covers

hi guys wanting a carbon battery cover and just wondered which places people would recommend and how much they are..seen the ones on ebay but are they any good..also how easy are they to fit do you have to chop them to make them fit cos looking at my battery i have no idea how they would attach cheers any pics would be great as well cheers

I suppose you could make one up using sheet aluminium and some carbon sheeting.

cheers guys i realise it wont be genuine carbon cos it would cost too much he he but really think they look alot nicer than the bloody wires showing plus will give a little bit more protection from water he he..anyway how easy are these to fit???

mine an abs plastic carbon lookalike jobbie and i think it looks good

i cut mine to fit snug on top of the rail by the battery

yeah it was about a tenner

i cut it to fit snug over the rail and used some window trim of an old skool mini to put on the other side so it rests in place

theres a threaded hole on the rail so attached it with a screw through there

they fit ok but look crap because they have that big rail over the top of them

u are best off using it to cover the rail, also seeing as it is screwed to the rail it is a lot more secure
