Carbon Bonnets

Hi all I've just been giving £300 from Balfour Beatty because they went and dropped stuff of thier building site and dented my bonnet im wondering where is the best place to purchase a carbon bonnet for my 182? Also im wondering if there are anywhere cheaper to purchase it as it seems quite expensive from Ktec.
With regards to the carbon bonnet has anyone had any problems with them, plus will I need bonnet fastners to hold them down?

quality of most of the ones i've seen isn't upto much, ripply lacquer and wobbly weave (no idea of where they're from)

the best carbon bonnets aren't made anymore (procomp) but they were £640 a go! (i have one and the quality is amazing)

most stuff is made in the far east on the cheap unfortunatley

I thought procomp made carbon bonnets for K-tec? well thats what it says on the pic of the clio that they have showing in one of their pictures.
If thats the case then I will order it next week.

procomp went bust about 4years ago!!

i think k-tec's stuff is made abroad

yep. i had a procomp too, paid with an insurance claim.

the quality was stunning
