Carbon Copys new car.

Ok, here we go people. 172 ownership starts this coming weekend if all goes well.

Since ill be going from a 1.2 to a 2.0 16v with 170+bhp ill be taking it easy for a while...maybe.

The car already has a few tasty bits - B&M quickshift, Pipercross Viper, Eibach Pros, Clear side repeaters, Mk2 rear lights, K-Tec stealth exhaust and the 17"s are like new.

I was wondering if anyone has gone from the bottom to the top of the ladder in one go like i will be doing, and what i have to watch out for...apart from GATSOs.

oh, you bought that one. saw that on the for sale bit a while back and told my mate to go for it. nice car but not a fan of those wheels.

i went from a focus to my cup, as long as youre not a complete idiot behind the wheel then sure youll get on fine. keep it progressive and as more confidence comes, go harder and youll soon get used to it. bet youre grinnging your tits off when you drive it??

ill be changing the wheels for some 16" Turinis or 15" Ronal Turbos...cant decide on the "look" i want yet!...lol

like you said chris, ill just take it easy. i like my clean licence.

there are a few looks im thinking of...

sl*g...e.i Black willy wheels with a polished lip, and get coilovers

OR...Street...i.e Split Rim Superleggeras, and get coilovers

OR...Euro...i.e Ronal Turbos, smooth it over......AND GET COILOVERS...lol

You should have a go in a cup matey - Then you will see what a good decision is was to get a mk1 - I had a cup before mine.

its just had its 48k service.

when i took a 182 out for a test drive i got out at the end and i was shakein and so was the sales man

go carefull till u get use to it but enjoy it!

this is my old car MA03.

ill be gutted to see it go, but ill live. lol

Everyone on here knows how well cared for MA03 was...the new owner will be on here soon enough after he takes delivery so youll see it around.

AT LEAST NOW I WONT GET KNOCKED FOR THE RENAULTSPORT BADGE
