Whats it like in your engine bay mate? I think it's a bit harder for us 172/182 boys to secure unless the battery is relocated a bit.

^ lol. I have hardly anything in my engine as it's just a 1.2, so I have plenty of room. They do lots of sizes, and my battery is the same size as a 172/182 anyway, which iirc is 7" x 6". They can do bigger and smaller sizes on request free of charge.

Does it screw into battery, seems dodgy?

lol. If it screwed onto the battery it would f*ck your car up, not to mention electrocute you first.

Its held down by 2 allen key bolts which are fitted on the cover and attached by 2 sticky feet. Just undo the allen bolts and the thing comes off. Also worth a mention that you can drill a couple of holes on the side of the cover and bolt it onto battery protector (the metal thing where your original CAF goes) as well.
