Hi is this normal.car is like a cart horse until about 4000 rpm then it wakes.up.Is this normal

Does the engine feel like it's struttering in low revs? Might need the spark plug coil pack replacing, possibly spark leads and/or plugs too.

No its fine but a bit lumpy on tick over

They are naturally a bit lumpy on idle. Have you recently bought the car?
