Cat-Back Insurance

Just wondering if I would need to inform my insurance company (C.I.S) about my new cat back system. They didnt put anything on for my TSW Razors so I dont know what their position would be on the exhaust. Ive heard all the horror stories of policies being made void when the company found out that something wasnt listed.

Called them up the last time but they told me to write a letter. Probably to save them entering the details themselves.

CIS are great for mods in one way, they insist on you writing sodding letters, try ringing up and asking to speak to the underwriting dept, atleast they can sometimes give you an idea of any extra cost....although having said that i have a full malifold back exhaust system, filter, stripped interior, bucket seats, and lowered more than 55mm for no extra charge
