cat failure

just coming back from the sea side and my williams went BANG and lost power!!! ..............the cat has been rattling for a couple of weeks now and i hope this is the cause.

any ideas, (must say i havent lost any fluid, no smoke from zorst, engine clean etc)..... sounds like a racing car now tho

My Williams lost lots of power when the cat broke. There was a chunk of the material stuck in the exhaust system and it strangled it. My cat had rattled for a week or two first. Just get a de-cat for now. Worth it on a Williams.

Get a unsilenced de-cat and it will still sound like a racing car!
