Cat for MOT

So i've got the MOT coming up in a couple months and I've bought a 182 with a Milltek Decat exhaust and I was wondering what would be the cheapest option and/or best option?

Buying a Cat for the Milltek or buying a cheap exhaust to put on for the MOT or ?

Take it decatted and tell the tester there's no cat on it and £20 in the ashtray for him.

if you don't have a friendly tester, find a dumb one without a clue and see if it will pass on the emissions anyway, or just borrow a cat of mates car?

Make sure the engines warm and take it for a spin before hand, helps with emissions IIRC? Can't remember where but swear I've heard that somewhere.
