Catcams and cam timing question

Question;

catcams do a camshaft for a particular engine but done seem to do a vernier pulley to match. I know you can use the standard pulley on the shaft but what effect will this have on the timing?

Will the camshaft be designed to mathc the standard pulley (i.e. timed in by its design) or will i need to find a vernier to match from somewhere?

Ive got a set of Catcams with the standard pulleys and that works perfectly.

So you dont need oher pulleys.

They do make adjustable pulleys I think....

Well the engine im looking at camming, they make camshafts but not a matching vernier pulley according to their application list...i.e do you think theyll have designed their uprated cam around the standard pulley?

They did with my cams, so I think they would do it with other cams aswell.

You could always email them offcourse.;)
