Generally what happens when you go to motorsport professionals mate, especially ones with championship winning history behind them!
Ive had it done, not by mark fish though. TBH he charges an extortionate amount for what he does.
So very trueOnly in this country is skill so undervalued.
Lets not make sweeping statements.
Location/Service/Quality of work are all factors at work here. You haven't spoken to him. Yet you go on the attack. Very unfair indeed.
Ive posted some pictures of how I did it here: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=486549&page=2
Just checked their website and it's 2.5" (hence the question mark I put after 2.25" - I wasn't 100% sure what size it was.)
But, the bottom line is the inlet piping to the muffler AND the muffler internal diam at it's inlet is 2".
Have got a decat fitted and passed MOT yesterday with it.
Yeah I know the exit from the centre silencer is 2.5 inch, BUT unless the internal diameter of the perforated tube inside the silencer is 2.5 inch, there would be no benefit in welding a 2.5 inch entry pipe to it
