cd player problems

my cd player burst it illuminates and will eject a disc but nothing else
when you push any button the car beeps at me i have tried a mates cd player and it does the same thing so prob with car not headunit

checked all the fuses in dash and the wires look fine any ideas???

Is this the OEM unit in the car? Mine's shot completely by the looks of it - I don't even get any lights....

yes standard unit but swapped with a mates working one and its exactly the same

It does this when you need to enter the code again

when it wants the code it displays code with four zeros like this 0000

mine doesnt
