I use Sonic/Nero/powerISO for burning duties, think all can be found on their respective web sites and used under trial when you will then have the chance to "puchase" them once your trial has expired.
With a bit of Ingenuity and know-how, im sure you could figure out how to "purchase" said software
I don't want to start a huge debate but this is why us Linux users get quite fanatical. If you need burning software it's usually either already installed (free!) or if not then you open up your package manager or terminal and just download it (free!)
Under Windows I used Nero, it seems to come free with everything these days. Might be worth checking your CD's just in case you had it free with something.
