In my old physics alevel class used to work out how much hitting a fly slows the average car down when colliding at 70 mph for the car and 1 mph for the fly.

Conservation of momentum.

Think it knocks about a millionth of 1mph off you speed.

in the north of scotland they want you to count how many are on your car and report it. Apparently the birds are suffering cause theres less flies to eat...

Fook that! I use tar remover to get them off if theyre baked on.

nice work chris, if i was traveling at an average speed of 80ish how much would my car have been slowed down after this lot then? lol
