Cental Locking/key remote

i have change the battery in my key any i still have to walk straight up to my car and point it directly towards the window :dapprove:

could it be the receiver in the car?
or the transmitter in the key fob?

i have a 2001 Dymanique 1.2 16v phase 2

Way too much to be messing around with mate.

Could be the UCH/the keys transponder. Neither are cheap as a new key costs about £150 for your model.

I would just put up with it personally or use a spare key if you have one?
