Hi guys.
Just picked up a 2002 1.2 Dynamique. I was aware that the remote central locking didn't work when I got the car (presume both batteries are dead, LED doesn't light on the key when pressed).
Is it normal that when I manually un/lock the drivers/passenger side door that it doesn't toggle the locks on the other doors? My old car had a sticky motor, so I used to manually lock the drivers side door and then that would send a signal to the rest of the locks - and they'd lock too.
This doesn't seem to happen on the Clio.. seems like a fault to me. Is it?
I was told to get the keys re-coded, it's a dealer only job and is going to cost me £75. (The batteries have been flat for ages, so presume they'll need coding).
