I use one and they hold you in very well.
I got mine from Kam racing who were cheapest at the time.

Theres a few threads about these, I even started one

For what they are they are awesome bits of kit. i used one around Llandow in my 182 and it held me in very well and im not exactly light

I have one and it was great for what it is. Obviously it won't keep keep the top of your body strapped tight like harnesses but it stops you from moving about on the seat. I'd definitely recommend if you don't want harnesses.

I use one on track, money well spent IMO.

I've used one on both road and track for the last 5 years or so.

Can't fault it. Easily transferable from car to car.

Gives good hip restraint on track, and excellent posture on road. I got mine originally when I had a back problem but since then have used it every single day as it's so comfortable.
