any body know how to replace the gear knob in a mk2 ph2 clio
fUbAr Jan 1, 2005 #2 its glued on.... u have to either cut it off, or snap the glue with a big wrench and twist.

X XTR2000 Audi TT Quattro Jan 3, 2005 #8 no no no!!!!! Take the middle of the cap off......... then drill down the centre of the gear knob... When you hit white plastic... you have gone to far.... Then wrap a towel around the gearknob and crack it off with molegrips. Thats how i replaced mine. and it came off in one piece. And it was reusable
