I've only ever needed to do the nearside/passenger side. And you can do that without taking the bumper off, 60 second job really (though it took me ages as it was pitch black and I didn't know what was where.

Same headlights as a cup..
Just pull the rubber cover off the back, and the bulb just twists out.

i did it in a 172. took me 1 1/2 hours (i had to take a break to calm down) it was the hardest thing ive aver done on/to a car. make me so angry my hands were shaking. but this was a xonon (forgot how its spelt) bulb assy
Lol, my bonnet jammed half way through, they fixed the bumper and fitted the bulbs
