  Suzuki Ignis Sport
Nah just wondered if the garage was ripping me off by changing something that wasn't there.

none of them ditz. The garage is going to change the "rear hydraulic cylinders on the rear brakes" lol i tried to explain that the clio 1.2's have drum rears which are cable worked just for the hand brake. Dont think hes got it that the garage is chatitng s**t and mugging him off though :(

Arr right brakes cylinder yep the rear drums have them not long to change them new ones are £14 or £16 depending what type you have.

Rear drums are fluid operated the cable is just for the handbrake.

To chnage one usualy means chnaging the shoes as well so add that on £14~16 depenfing what shoes you have fitted

Say 1.5 ~2 hours to do both sides only 3 nuts (one the brake line itself and two thats hold it in place) to undo extra than changing the shoes.

Always worth checking things before picking fault with garages who know more than the owners usually.

But thats wrong as I said elsewhere and edde also says.

Rear drums are operated by hyrdaulics when you push the footbrake and a cable for the handbrake
