I'll bet you can't

Is it specifically a Danish copy of XP? They are embedded with Danish and you can't just switch to English

Fred, when the OS boots, does the Windows splash screen have any Danish on it?

I had a cut down copy of XP that I got from a well known torrent site.

That was in Spanish :) PC was only goin gin the car anyway so wasn't really that bothered. Was fun trying to figure out what meant what! :o

I had this same problem recently when my sister bought a "cheap" laptop in France! You need to install a Service Pack with the language you need, presumably English. If you don't already have SP3, install that. If you do, you will need to uninstall that before you reinstall the new one with the right language.
