changing rear speakers

Managed to get the grill off the speakers in the back of my car today to see what's going on. I know the standard size is 13cm but I was given some vibes off a friend so I wasn't going to turn them down, only problem I have is the speakers I have are 16cm, is there a way of getting them to fit?

My friend suggested a stealth shelf but I'd rather not to that to be honest so I'm just wondering if it's possible to fit 16cm speakers in the back replacing the standard 13cm ones.

The rear speakers screw into the rear plastic door cards as you probably have seen, you could cut the plastic and make them fit somehow, but it would be much easier to just buy 13cm speakers for the rear I'd have thought.

Yeah I know what you mean, buying new ones would be the easier way out it's just I have the speakers already as I don't really want to buy new ones if you see what I mean so surely there's a way of getting them to fit somehow?
