Hi Guys and Girls,

I need to raise cash and my EVO 260 low spoiler model 62000mile Silver car must go. It does need a wheel bearing and all the AYC lights are on. Other than that it has a crack in the windscreen and thats it. It drives perfectly and has loads of history. This must be the cheapest EVO 8 ever and the new owner will not be dissapointed.

Its a 54plate car and registered in October 2004. I've e-mailed pics to LOZ C1's work address as requested but will post them up on the advert for everyone to see. I'm sure this isnt expensive and hope it will sell soon.

By the time you've fixed everything it won't be cheap, new ayc diff is a pretty penny and as daniel says thats got lifetime of thrash written all over it. And its a GSR so no thank you.

lots of '260's for sale on LR at the mo. Quite a few modded to 350-400bhp etc, but still loads of them.

No FQ400s really, but a few tasty stroker ones, that tit Ant1 on there as well seems to have owned half the motors as well.

As above, thier basically all the same with slightly diffrent turbo's/exhaust systems, afaik the 260's are only 260's because of european emission's laws, and so they run 2 cats, diffrent map and a few other little bits.
Tbh you are better off buying a 260, buying the spoiler off the bigger model and exhaust then remap, hello 300+bhp, at a much fairer price than a fq300

Its not just bolt on bits though when it comes to the MRs (in 8 form at least) different pistons/cams/etc. Just a poor base (imo) if you looking to tune, otherwise nothing wrong with them I guess just the evo "wrx".

A lot of the big power evos on mlr started as 260's they offerm uch better value when tuning than buying an fq or mr

If your going the full hog i'd agree, not so much so if you just wanted to go the bolt on route and map.
