Cheap labour

Parts are often cheap and labour is a tw*t. What about getting the ferry to spain with all the parts youll need changing in the near future and getting a garage there to do it? There labour must be cheaper. A drive to Poland anyone? I heard you can pay in peanuts there;)

i saw this on one of them watch dog type programmes, where they drove to france in their reno and got it serviced there, and they even saved money including the petrol!!

however i reckon they must have had too much time on their hands, as its alond way to go for a service !!

Ye I saw that too, it was actually cheaper to drive to france and get it done there, than to get it done locally.. and you can take advantage of the booze :p

Labour isnt really that bad for me.

Ive got a mate whos a mechanic who does anything anybody could really do, another mate whos a performance tuner with his own rr, who gives me slightly cheaper labour.

Also, my cars going to Nick at HillPower next week, who is charging me £35/hour which I think is pretty good for a specialist. Especially the amount of work Ive got for him and he reckons itll only be 3hrs labour!
