Cheap or not

It has been serviced upto 50k from Renault but new keeper will have to apply for a copy of the service documents.

This looks bit wierd surely he should have them if they exist. Also that means it's not been serviced for 18,000 miles and no mention of the cambelt being done.

lazy seller, if the service paperwork is at renault surly to god you would get it if you were trying to sell the car??!!
imo your looking at a car thats got dodgy service history thats got 68k on the clock and no mension of belt changes, so not that cheap im afraid.......

I was looking at spending upto around £3500 when I bought mine a month or so back, saw loads of PH2 172s... no cups that were worth buying though. Found a really nice PH172 with low mileage in great condition and bartered down to £3200 but then bough a much higher mileage PH1 for a hell of a lot less as it drove much better and had already had the vast majority of the consumables replaced recently! There's a lot of sh*t out there though, get him to look at a few. I saw a couple of sub 70k cars same colour as that for around £2600... needed a couple of minor things though.
