Chipped windscreen !

so i have a chipped windscreen anybody know a good company , auto glass want 70 quid !

Do you not get anything through your insurance?

If its just a chip you can repair through insurance for free or new windscreen will normaly be 70 excess

im not sure im covered for windscreen repair, i couldn't get through to my insurance company yesterday. late'ish ill try tomorrow at lunch

I had mine done by a local bloke who sits outside halfords for £20 he did a fair good job aswell !! i always use laugh at him as he sits there all day in all weathers doing very little but infairness he did it cash £20 no insurance rubbish !!

Try him mate , i only dropped in on the off chances and asked how much was a good result by look of it !! youve got nothing to lose by asking !! Auto glass wanted £70 off me and i had my my windscreen cover which was stupid too !!

Oh, possibly, I just drive past one quite often and it say's free windscreen chip repair (or something to the same effect). Ignore me then.
