what chips are available for a mk2 172? also which are bect for gains? iv seen a few cars with factory fitted 182bhp ecus?? are these available through renault? im not goin mad with this car only after maybe a new airbox and chip would nay noticeable difference be seen with these fitted?

The RSport chip is supposed to be very good, and cheap. Dont know of any that have been fitted to a 172 yet - all cups to my knowledge.

There no such upgrade never has been. The only 182 upgrade is the 182 Clio. There are some Renault garages which sell LAD tunned cars which have been claimed to have upto 200hp but there not offical upgrades only delearship ones.
Best not raise any questions about LADs tunning claims on here. Lets just say that there have been a lot of questioning on the forum over there claims. Have a search for more information.
